"Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28).
Are you a victim of abuse or circumstance? Are you living with impossible people? Is there incompatibility? Do you feel justified in being overcome by your situation? What a dilemma! You are an imperfect being living in an imperfect world with imperfect people. If only your burden was more bearable.
Have you talked to your Guide, the Lord Jesus, about your problem? Lovingly He says, "Come unto me, and I will give you rest." He has a great "Ways And Means" Department suited especially for you. Yoke up with God. "[His] yoke is easy, and [His] burden is light" (Matthew 11:29-30).
Let Him help you bear your burden. Without His support you could be crushed beneath the load. Christ has all the knowledge and power necessary to enable you to adapt to your circumstances. Consider each trial as an opportunity for God to show Himself strong on your behalf. Bring Him into the difficulty you now face, and experience His enabling grace and strength.
