"Then they feared the Lord spoke often one to another, and the Lord harkened and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for them that feared the Lord and that thought upon His name" (Malachi 3:16).
You've heard it said: "A penny for your thoughts." Are your thoughts that worthless? Psychologists say that 10,000 thoughts go through the human mind in one day.
A newspaper article, "Your Brain Is Better Than Any Computer" says: "Your own brain is far more complex and awe-inspiring than any computer. In fact, it can hold 280 million times more information than the most sophisticated computer ever built!" Yet we are told we use less than 10% of our brain.
Does it matter what we think? Rotten thoughts can ruin your day. They can weaken you and rob you of your vitality. Or you can be strengthened by your thoughts. The greatest "heart-lift" can come from harboring worshipful thoughts toward God and His matchless name. Meditate on His attributes and the great things He has done! He is a great mind reader, and He records our thoughts of Him in a special book.
