"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect, will of God" (Romans 12:2).
Stress! Have you felt its tentacles groping for your mind? You are in the pressure cooker of life: making money, climbing the corporate ladder, raising a family. There are not enough hours in the day to accomplish all your goals. Life is one gigantic merry-go-round of washing, cleaning, dusting, preparing meals, work-related obligations, church activities, and so forth! You reschedule, delegate, adjust. Is there no way to stop this out-of-control treadmill?
Call on the One who can create order out of chaos. Know God’s wonderful peace. "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God who giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth [scoldeth] not, and it shall be given unto him" (James 1:5).
The mind that focuses on the Word feeds the soul with heavenly nourishment, thus transforming the life into Christ-likeness and a godly walk in the will of God.
Bringing order
out chaos,
That's what God alone can do;
He will transform hardened hearts
And troubled minds renew.
