Call unto Me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things which thou knowest not" (Jeremiah 33:3).
As you stand before Omnipotence, you are in awe. You contemplate the power and glory of the One who formed you before you were born. You tremble because you are so needy. You ask yourself, "How dare I, finite and failing, come to Him who is infinite?"
But God knows all about you. He says with gentle voice, "Call unto Me with your impossibility." He promises to answer in His own time and in His own way. With His answer He will show you "great and mighty things" which He alone knows. Your present need can be a key to unlock God’s secrets, and the lessons you will glean from your difficult situation will far outweigh the problem. For the trusting child of God the end is better than the beginning. God specializes in impossibilities.
God’s unfailing ear is ever alert to the cry of the righteous. No request is too large or too small for Him to hear. Great surprises linger behind the door of prayer. "Knock and it shall be opened unto you" (Matthew 7:7).
We may not know just what to do,
But we know where to go;
Our Lord has all the answers,
Whether "wait" or "yes" or "no."

My Trustworthy One, I call on You.
