"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord" (1 Corinthians 15:58)."Stop the world, I want to get off!"
You are tired of the treadmill of life. You have come to the end of your rope. Trials daunt you. Others prosper, but you do not. Neighbors seem to have less trials than you do. Life seems unfair. You feel like nothing more than a blob, though you have sought to be faithful in the work of God. You ask, "Is it worth it?"
Be comforted. Be encouraged. Be steadfast. Be faithful where God has planted you. Even if you cannot see immediate results, you can abound in the work of the Lord. One day you will be rewarded with the Masters "Well done!". You will be paid in full. "Your labor is not in vain in the Lord." Believe it. Rejoice.
Dont give up in the vineyard! You may be unnoticed and unpraised by men, but the Master Gardener sees all and has His rewards ready. So keep on! It will be worth it all.
Rewards await you, child of God,
Though waiting may seem long;
Your faithful labor for the Lord
Will bring a crown and song.
—E.R.G.
My loving Lord, You are my ultimate Rewarder.
