READ 2 TIMOTHY 1:7-12
"I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day" (2 Timothy 1:12).
God is able! He is able to keep me, my loved ones, my friends, and everything I place in His hands. The One in whom I believe (trust and entrust) is able to do all that He has promised in His Word.
The Apostle Paul was so convinced that God was able to keep him that he was totally at rest in Him, even if he did not see immediate evidence.
In this trouble-worn world, the only place my loved ones are safe is "in Him, in His care, in His keeping." He knows exactly where they are at any given moment, and through prayer I am linked to them though they are far removed from me. Parents cannot be there at all times to counsel and direct their children, but God is there. He can keep them from the evil one.
There is great victory in knowing who we are in Christ. He is the great Keeper of the sheep. As we commit to Him, we can rest in the assurance that we are sheltered by omnipotence.
Is God able, dare we ask,
To do what we can’t do?
Beloved one, commit your all
And let Him work for you!

My Holy Helper, You are trustworthy.
