CONFIDENT LIVING

A holy, reverential awe of the almighty should captivate our hearts. Only then can we know the confidence of perfect safety. The enemy cannot overcome us as we relax in the center of God’s perfect will. In the fear of the Lord we can be quiet from all fear of evil. From our place of refuge, with our hearts at rest, we can look out on the sea of trouble, knowing we are secure in Christ.

Enjoy your shelter in Christ. Be confident, you who fear the Lord. Your circumstances cannot overwhelm you. There is no safer place to dwell than in His fortress of love, with the priceless fear of God flooding your heart.

Do you lack confidence? Heed the words of Solomon, the wisest earthly king: "Fear the Lord." Strong confidence will be your portion.

In tempest, turmoil, or testing, God’s trusting child has a refuge both sure and indestructible. In God’s holy presence he is assured of peace and unending fellowship.
