"The Lord is slow to anger and great in power ... the Lord hath His way in the whirlwind and in the storm " (Nahum 1:3).
When the great Titanic was about to sail, it was said, "Even God cannot sink it." But the giant ship did sink. Perhaps there's a tornado in your life, and you silently say, "Even God cannot bring me out of this storm." Don’t limit God. His resources are limitless. Place your faith unreservedly in Him.
Someone has said, "Faith brings us to the attention of God."
Henry J. Heinz, of the 57-variety fame, said, "Throughout my life, in which were the usual joys and sorrows, I have been wonderfully sustained by my faith in God through Jesus Christ."
Wilma Dirksen, in her book "Have You Seen Candace?" says, "We have to be vaccinated with suffering to be able to create an immune system. God can't take one's suffering away, because we need it to survive. Our faith in God enables us to take all our suffering and turn it around to benefit ourselves and God's work." Wilma's daughter was found missing and later her lifeless body was discovered. Wilma's faith in the Lord brought her through. So, too, He will bring you through each storm. With Jesus in the ship of your life, no matter how severe the storm, you are "unsinkable" with Him as your Pilot.
Trust Him!
