THE GOD OF THE UNIVERSE

At night I rest in God's own arms,
Secure as I can be,
The God of all the universe
Is safely holding me.

No harm, alarm can bother Him,
Why should it bother me?
The earth is His and heaven, too,
He sees what I can't see.

He guides me wisely day and night,
My times are in His hands,
He says: "Fear not, you're mine, dear child,
My faithful promise stands."

I thank you, Lord, for peace so grand,
I never am alone,
Forever I will worship You
Before Your glorious throne.
