SECURITY ON THE ROCK

"Nevertheless
the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal,
The Lord knoweth them that are His" (2 Timothy 2:19).
I am secure though billows roll—
A sovereign God is in control;
Angry waves may pound the shore,
But I am safe though tempests roar.
The Rock on which my feet are cast
Will every rock on earth outlast;
So let the wild winds churn the sea,
My Father's hand is holding me.
And from this earthly perch one day,
With wings of joy I'll fly away
To where no troubled seas will swell,
And where in peace for e'er I'll dwell.
