I'm leaning on the arm of my Beloved,
I'm listening to His words of love so true;
And I'm content to follow where He leads me,
To do whate'er my Savior bids me do.
I'm leaning on the arm of my Beloved,
I'm sharing all the secrets of my heart;
And I enjoy the sweetness of His presence,
The wondrous peace His tender touch imparts.
I'm leaning on the arm of my Beloved,
I'm claiming every promise of His Word;
And when at last I enter into heaven,
I'll be escorted by my lovely Lord.
The Lord is my Beloved;
I'm His and His alone;
Now at His side I shall abide,
Eternally His own.
