In this world of heavy pressures,
And deadlines all around,
It’s so hard to keep perspective
And your feet on solid ground.
But there’s peace found in the Savior
That no one can take away;
So just put your trust in Jesus,
And stay close to Him always.
When the hardships build around you,
And it seems there’s no way out,
When you don’t know your direction,
You’re just roaming all about,
Just look to God the Father,
He will lead you all the way,
And don’t take your eyes off Jesus,
But stay close to Him always.
He is closer than a brother,
If we’d only let Him be;
But some people think that God
Can have no personality.
If we’d only let Him close
Then we’d know His loving ways;
He just wants us to draw near
And stay close to Him always.
