Home At Last

At home with God,
oh joy serene—
what eyes on earth
have never seen.
He’s seen the face
of Christ his King,
the saints, the angels;
everything
that once was hidden
now revealed.
Oh, glorious thought—
in Heaven he’s healed!
By grace through faith
in God’s own Son,
he lives in glory.
A crown he’s won.
A grand reunion
there will be
for those who know
the Son as he.
No pain, no fear,
all sorrow past,
true joy and peace,
at home at last.
