HE'S ALWAYS THERE
The hurts and disappointments
We must face within our lives
Are all a part of living on this earth;
The pain we sometimes feel
And the grief we all have known
May not appear to harbor any worth.
An yet as I look back
On all the burdens I have shared,
The one thing I have found to be the most true
Is, no matter what the circumstance,
No matter how I hurt,
The Lord was always there to see me through.
I’d feel His arms around me,
As He’s fill my heart with peace;
The joy of my salvation He’d restore.
Through each and every trial,
Through every trying pain,
I grew to know my Savior even more.
I grew to know His mercy
And His everlasting grace
Through heartache He would life me in His love;
Through all the hurt and sorrow
He never let me down.
He helped me keep my hear on things above.
So, now as I remember
All that He has brought me through,
And as I look ahead to what will be,
I do not know the future,
But from what my past has shown,
I know my Savior’s always there for me.
